Over the holidays, I've noticed quite a few new faces have joined the adKnits community, so I wanted to take a moment to introduce (or reintroduce) myself.
Hi! My name is Augusta and I'm the one woman show behind adKnits. AdKnits started out as a hand-knit apparel company, but after a decade of knitting on demand, I was burned out. So, I decided to put my art background to good use and began designing items that I wanted to use as a knitter. I love nature and never tire of a good pun, so those two things have somehow weirdly combined to create a line of stickers, pins, tags, and other fun things for knitters and makers.
Outside of my business, I'm still working a day job and live with my husband, two kiddos, and an overly energetic dog named Ziggy. I love knitting (obviously), being outside as long as I'm not cold, gardening, organizing all the things, and hand-making pretty much anything except for food. I can't stand cooking!
I'm so excited to have you along for the ride and can't wait to share all the fun things I have planned for this year!
