Pinesap Mug Cozy Knitting Pattern

This mug cozy has a base that doubles as a coaster and then a button and loop closure to keep it securely on your mug.  The pattern combines knit and crochet techniques with the base and edging being crocheted and the body of the cozy knit in a basketweave pattern.  If you're looking for a last-minute gift, you can knit this up in less than two hours!

4 inches stockinette= 16 sts, 20 rows

four US 10.5 - 6.5mm double pointed needles
