A belated happy new year to everyone! Though I typically don't have a legit excuse for my lapses in blogging, this year, I feel I can firmly blame it on having a new baby. Our family got just a little bit bigger right before Christmas and we are so excited about our new baby girl!
With summer coming to a close, I'm spending my days continuing to stock up for the busy season. It's stressful! I never feel like I've knit enough, and fall is just creeping closer.
I've got a new favorite in the shop -- the Galax Cowl! It's squishy woolly perfection and I'm determined to find time to knit one for myself this winter.
I'm looking for a few test knitters for these Aspen Mittens! If you're interested, check out the details in my Ravelry Group!

So, you know I love me some bows.
Now, I'm sharing the bow love with my first class on SkillShare!
Great for beginning knitters or any knitter looking to use up their leftover yarn bits, this class will walk you through the basics of knitting and teach you how to make a simple knit bow that can easily be turned into a bowtie, hair bow, or other accessories. These are the same little knit bows that appear in my Etsy shop from time to time, and that I never do a craft show without!
I'm not sure why it's taken me this long, but I've FINALLY made a Ravelry group for adKnits! The kick in the pants I needed was that I want to start offering more of my patterns for sale, and to do that, I'm gonna need me some test knitters.
Years ago, I bought one of those fancy plastic pom pom makers. I used it once or twice, got frustrated, and it's been collecting dust in my studio ever since, Instead, I came up with this super easy way of making pom poms that just involves an index card. Today I want to share that method with you in this Super Simple Pom Pom Tutorial!
